Youth Networking Events

WATAPUR HSO (Human Services Organization) is dedicated to fostering a sense of community and providing opportunities for youth networking within the Afghan community in Illinois. These events serve as platforms for young individuals to connect, engage in various activities, and explore opportunities for personal and professional growth. These events are conducted in collaboration with our partner institutions and organizations, with a comprehensive agenda covering various aspects of youth networking events to make a stronger foundational relation.

Events and Celebrations:

• Nawroz Celebration: Join us in celebrating Nawroz, the Afghan New Year, with cultural performances, traditional music (Atan), and delicious food.
• Independence Day Celebration: Come together to commemorate Afghanistan's Independence Day with cultural activities, flag ceremonies, and community gatherings.
• Eid Festivities: Come together to celebrate Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha with prayers, feasts, and community gatherings.
• Iftar Gatherings: During the holy month of Ramadan, join us for Iftar gatherings where we break fast together and engage in spiritual reflections.
• Prayer Meetings: Participate in regular prayer meetings to strengthen your faith and bond with fellow community members.
• Sports Events: Engage in friendly sports competitions and recreational activities to promote physical health and camaraderie.
• Job Fairs: Explore employment opportunities and network with employers at our job fairs tailored to the needs of young individuals.
• Parties and Social Gatherings: Join us for parties, weddings, and social gatherings where you can meet new people, build connections, and have fun.
