Women's Health Education Workshop
WATAPUR, Inc. is committed to empowering women through our Women's Health Education Workshop. Our organization, approved as exempt from federal tax under Internal Revenue Code (IRC) section 501(c)(3), is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for women in Illinois. Donors can deduct contributions they make to us under IRC section 170, and we are qualified to receive deductible bequests, devises, transfers, or gifts under section 2055, 2106.
We initiated our operations in December 2020 with a mission to serve our community. Our primary goal is to address the social, emotional, and physical needs of women, promoting self-sufficiency, independence, and empowerment. Our programs are sustained through government funding, donations, and grants.
The Women's Health Education Workshop aims to provide women with valuable information on basic health practices, including:
- Hygiene: Proper hygiene practices for maintaining health and cleanliness.
- Nutrition: Understanding the importance of a balanced diet for overall well-being.
- Maternal Health: Guidance on maternal health care and pregnancy-related issues.
- Mental Health Awareness: Increasing awareness about mental health and its impact on overall wellness.
- Stress Management Techniques: Techniques for managing and reducing stress in daily life.
- Pregnancy: Information on prenatal care, childbirth, and postnatal care.
- Disease Prevention: Strategies for preventing common diseases and maintaining health.
By empowering women with this knowledge, we aim to improve the overall health and well-being of families within the community.
